A Handmade Birthday

A Happy Birthday
A Handmade Birthday

I finally found someone who loves Maggi as much as I do and I married him. Since we both love partying, by which I mean eating Maggi in our PJs and watching TV, we ate Maggi in the form of a cake for his birthday this year. I won’t lie, it was fun!

  1. Strange use of words for a foreigner. We don’t say happy birthday, we ‘happy (birthday) annivrsary’. Birthday is only for the actual birthday. In that sense birthday is not only handmade it is body made and love made.
A loss that noodle cake sounds strange, as we use cake only for sugary pieces of bakery.
The good thing of such an anniversary is that it is still hand made hand made and love made, every day of life.
    Congratulations.

    1. Thank u so much Michel! There is regular cake underneath the noodle shaped fondant icing. 😬 That’s interesting – In India ‘birth anniversary’ is usually a term used to refer to birthdays of people who’ve passed away- like Gandhi Jayanti which is tomorrow – celebrating Gandhiji’s birthday!

  2. I hope bro have a wonderful day and that the year ahead is filled with much love, many wonderful surprises and gives him lasting memories that he will cherish in all the days ahead. Happy Birthday Bhai Ji 😊😊😊😊
